Is it time to panic for San Mig Coffee?

After 4 games the San Mig Coffee Mixers are now facing a big problem. They have lost 3 of their first 4 games in the eliminations and their last 5 games would be crucial for them.

In yesterday's game against Petron, they started strong in the 1st half. The game was close until Ronald Tubid and Elijah Millsap got their game going in the 4th quarter. The effort was their but lost it in the 4th allowing Petron players to hit open shots to give the Mixers their 3rd loss in the conference.

Now, the San Mig Coffee has to make some adjustments because they will be needing at least 3 more wins to advance to the semi finals. In a situation like this, the tournament format favors them. Because only 2 teams will get eliminated after 9 games. But the main goal for every teams is to reach the top 4 to have a twice to beat advantage.

Guys like Blakely, Yap, Pingris, Simon and Mallari have to do some extra effort to make it to the top. Especially Mallari who tweeted a threat like message on twitter saying that he feels bad for their next opponent, meaning his guaranteeing a win for the Mixers. So, everyone's expecting him to prove something on their next game.

So, if you are San Mig Coffee, you've got to realize that in their remaining games, there will be no more room for errors. Depending on what will happen to TNT and Ginebra who both have 1 win and 2 losses. If they lose their games today, we're still safe. If they win, that's the time that we have to panic. But of course, we should not rely on other teams' fate. We have to make our own fate.
